It is already well established, the classic car gallery auction in the run-up to the Dolder Classics every June. On June 13, 2015, it will be that time again and for the fourth time, bidders will haggle over sought-after and rare classics on the dry ice rink at the Dolder ob Zurich
Once again, a selection of around 60 to 80 exclusive and generally high-priced classics is expected. Some of the items on offer can already be named.
A Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster from 1958, a Ford Thunderbird from 1956 and a BMW 503 Coupé from 1957 will be auctioned.
The spectrum is likely to be broad again in 2015, as a wide range is already visible, from pre-war vehicles to comparatively new cars such as the Jaguar XJ 220 super sports car or a fast BMW-Alpina B12 5.7 Coupé.
Two special bodies from Swiss production have also already been earmarked for the Dolder auction: a Talbot T120 with bodywork by Herrmann Graber and a Bristol 401 with Beutler Cabriolet bodywork.
However, it is not only the classics in the six-figure price range that are expected to attract buyers to the Zürichberg, but also interesting, more affordable cars such as an MG A 1500 Coupé from 1957, a Lancia Fulvia HF Fanalone in a Group 3 version from 1970 or an Alfa Romeo GT 1600 Junior from 1975.
The offer is constantly being completed, there are still a few places available. So if you have a car to offer, you can contact the Oldtimer Gallery directly (until around mid-May) and possibly benefit from the unique ambience surrounding the Dolder Classics.
Further information can be found on the Oldtimer Galerie website.
Reports on the 2014, 2013 and 2012 auctions at the Dolder are of course also documented.
