Preserving classic cars as a cultural asset and revitalizing the scene is a matter close to the heart for Carola Daimler and her team from "Carola Daimler Cars". That is why the "Carola Daimler Classics" was created, which will start for the first time on August 28, 2021 around Stuttgart and combines automotive history, driving fun and exciting events for classic car enthusiasts.
It is a rally for classic cars of all makes up to 1995 with various special stages and drive-through checks along an approx. 200 km long, picturesque route.
The route was designed by a professional racing driver and is tailored to the needs of classic car enthusiasts. Participation for a team of two costs only EUR 500 (incl. VAT) and includes a full day's program with lots of highlights. Thanks to a sophisticated hygiene concept, the organizers are very confident that the event can definitely go ahead this year. In the event of a cancellation due to the pandemic, all costs will of course be reimbursed without compromise.
Interesting route layout
The driver briefing and the start will take place in the showroom in Stuttgart-Plieningen. In true style, the first vehicle to start is of course the really first vehicle: Daimler's motorized carriage.
According to current planning (as of July 2021), the rally leads to Schorndorf, where Daimler's birthplace has a little surprise in store before the participants arrive at the place where Baden-Württemberg was founded - the legendary Hohen Neuffen Castle. A delicious barbecue lunch with a view over the entire Neuffen valley awaits the participants there.
Afterwards, the route continues over the Swabian Alb and the Siebenmühlental valley back to the finish line in Stuttgart-Plieningen.
The award ceremony will take place in the main showroom of Carola Daimler Cars as part of an evening event. The special feature: dinner will be cooked according to an original recipe from a previously unpublished cookbook by Gottlieb Daimler's first wife Emma - and many more highlights await the participants of the Carola Daimler Classics.
"Carola Daimler Cars" is a company of the great-granddaughter of Gottlieb Daimler based in Stuttgart-Plieningen.
