Graber Sportgarage AG, which has specialized in the comprehensive care of historic collector's and racing cars for decades, is expanding to Münsingen. On April 1, 2019, it will take over the property of Sportgarage Ruch AG at Thunstrasse 60. As the premises in Toffen do not allow for any further expansion of workshop capacity, five new jobs will soon be created in Münsingen.
A circle closes
Toffen and Münsingen - The circle has come full circle. Graber Sportgarage AG, originally based in Wichtrach, is reopening a branch in the Aare Valley. In order to push ahead with the gradual reduction in the scope of work, René Ruch has decided to sell the generously dimensioned and modernly equipped property to Graber Sportgarage AG for reasons of age.
Christian Traber, majority shareholder of Graber Sportgarage AG, is proud to have found a mutually pleasing and future-oriented solution together with Ruch. The operational opening of the new branch in Münsingen is planned for April 1, 2019.
A long history and tradition
Graber Sportgarage AG was founded in the 1980s following the takeover of the world-famous Hermann Graber car body shop in Wichtrach. Over the course of time, Graber Sportgarage AG has discontinued the bodywork business and increasingly specialized in the comprehensive care of historic collector's and racing cars.
Its activities include race preparation, restoration, repair, sale and brokerage of high-quality sports and racing cars, mainly from earlier eras, and it also offers its customers full support at racing events, including transportation of the vehicles. The company employs 18 people in Toffen, including 13 highly specialized mechanics in a well-equipped workshop. Today, Graber Sportgarage AG is one of the best-known and most successful companies in the industry.
Further information on specialization and the range of vehicles on offer can be found on the Graber Sportgarage AG website.
