The 3rd edition of the new Swiss RetroMecanika trade fair will take place at Palexpo on April 27 and 28, 2024. The classic car season can thus begin in a new way for all fans of cars, motorcycles, bicycles, tractors, trucks, military machines and coaches from the past at a new location.
The new location offers great convenience, excellent road and highway access and parking right outside the doors of the exhibition without the need for lengthy shuttles. In addition, the 3rd edition coincides with the "Swiss Historic Vehicle Days" of the SHFV.
Plenty of space for over 200 exhibitors
200 exhibitors can be present in a single 15,000 square meter hall! As always, there will be dealers, parts dealers and specialists offering their goods and services.
Two prominent Swiss sponsors are supporting SRM 2024: Philippe Camandona for the cars and Jacques Cornu for the motorcycles.
With club show again
The return of the club show will once again provide an opportunity to reminisce about lesser-known automobiles. The venerable English brand MG is 100 years old, the Citroën Traction Avant is 90 years old and 80 years ago the Allies landed in Normandy with vehicles, including a Waco glider, that have become a cult. A decisive page in the Second World War will be on display at Palexpo!
The vehicles, cars and motorcycles of Geneva brands that have disappeared or left their mark on public service for decades, such as agricultural machinery, will be an excellent history book of the mobility of the past. Institutions, collectors and associations will present rare vehicles, each time full of history. A dedicated parking lot for visitors arriving in vehicles over 40 years old is also available just a stone's throw away.
With round trip
On Sunday morning, a classic car tour offers the opportunity to discover the surrounding countryside, just to preserve the fabulous heritage of motivated people who love to share their fabulous hobby.
