In November 2014, the legendary Becker Mexico Retro returned in a strictly limited edition. The infotainment system from HARMAN, which combines the classic Becker design with state-of-the-art technology, will be available from sales partner Kolumbus GmbH for around EUR 2000.
The Becker Mexico Retro: a symbiosis of state-of-the-art technology and retro design with a simplicity look. A tribute to the 60s - the trend that shaped an entire generation. That's why it is loved by classic car owners in particular, if they don't want to live without a good-sounding sound system.
Many of today's drivers expect the infotainment system in their car to keep pace with developments and changes towards a digital lifestyle. On the other hand, they also appreciate familiarity and tradition. The Becker Mexico presents itself with a classic "pinstripe front", rotary knobs and gearshift, as they were in the first edition in the 1960s, as well as functional displays in a retro look. Noble materials, excellent workmanship and controls reduced to the essentials give the device a high-quality elegance that ideally complements the modern technology.
Behind the nostalgic retro façade, a high level of engineering skill is expressed. The Becker Mexico Retro is a modern, powerful infotainment system that can play MP3 files as well as GPS navigation and radio functions, and integrates a card reader, Bluetooth and a modern display - without compromising on minimalist design or intuitive operation.
The limited edition of the Becker Mexico Retro is based on the technology of the Becker Cascade Pro and is also equipped with a voice dialog system and the latest map material (2014).
