The Bernina Gran Turismo returns to the Bernina Pass on September 12 and 13, 2026.
A Hill Climb for Drivers
Unlike many traditional automotive events, which focus primarily on the static display of vehicles, the Bernina Gran Turismo hill climb once again puts the emphasis on driving.
Historic race cars and sports cars gather between La Rösa and Ospizio Bernina, where altitude, weather, and the mountain pass itself set the challenge.
With its unique setting on the Bernina Pass, the Bernina Gran Turismo continues to attract a diverse community of drivers, car owners, restorers, collectors, and enthusiasts from all over Europe—united by a shared passion for preserving, maintaining, and driving exceptional automobiles in the very environment for which they were once created.
Three Categories, One Mountain Pass
Bernina Gran Turismo comprises three distinct categories, each embodying its own approach to historic motorsports and competition.
The Competition category is aimed at drivers seeking maximum performance on the 5.7-kilometer stretch between La Rösa and Ospizio Bernina.
The Regularity category rewards consistency over speed and challenges participants to replicate specified times with the highest possible precision.
The Demo category offers iconic historic vehicles, race cars, and modern high-performance automobiles the opportunity to experience the Bernina Pass outside of the competition.
