Fritz B. Busch's classic car collection is moving. At the end of the 2016 season, the car museum in Wolfegg will close its doors after 43 years of service.
Founded in 1973 by well-known automotive journalist Fritz B. Busch, his museum was one of the few private car museums in Germany - and one of the most original right from the start.
"His museum is just like he writes," a visitor once said, hitting the nail on the head. Quite a few museum founders later took their cue from his relaxed approach to museum design.
This is not the end!
The Busch Collection is by no means being lost, but is being transferred to the exhibition at the Tractor Museum Bodensee in Uhldingen-Mühlhofen near Meersburg, where it will be presented in new surroundings and with at least the same originality in the extended rooms from spring 2017.
Dr. Gerhard Schumacher, founder and director of the tractor museum, is looking forward to the integrated Busch Museum, and Anka Busch is delighted with the worthy setting that will be given to her father and his "big toy box".
Further information can still be found on the museum website.
