Until September 28, 2020, you can bid on 55 exceptional cars from 28 car manufacturers at Catawiki. The special thing about it is that no minimum bid is required, regardless of whether it is a 1967 Maserati Mistral, a 1937 Mercedes-Benz 220 S Ponton Cabriolet or a 1984 Lamborghini Jalpa P350.
Broad range
The spectrum of 55 vehicles ranges from the Messerschmitt KR200 cabin scooter to the VW T1 bus. There are five Ferraris as well as five Jaguars, including two E-Types.
An Austin-Healey 100/4 from 1956 and a Citroën SM from 1972 represent two completely different vehicle concepts.
Of course, neither the Pagoda (230 SL from 1966) nor the Porsche 911 are missing.
There are also three MGs on offer, namely an A, a B and a C, all as roadsters.
There are also two VW Beetles. And even a VW Golf GTI Mk1 from 1980!
Some special rarities
The rare Alpine A108 from FASA as a convertible from 1967 is certainly one of the rarest cars in the auction; only 41 examples are said to have been built between 1966 and 1967. Some work may still be needed, but the body is in good condition, it is noted.
And when do you ever see a DKW F7 Meisterklasse Cabriolet from 1937, described as "fair condition" and "drivable", but in need of mechanical and cosmetic work?
