The new date for the Bosch Hockenheim Historic - The Jim Clark Revival has been set: The popular classic car event will take place at the Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg from August 27 to 29, 2021. Due to the pandemic situation, the decision was made at the end of March not to hold the event in the first half of the year. It was originally planned for the beginning of May. After consultation with participating racing series, a suitable alternative date for the sporting event has now been fixed for the last weekend in August.
This slot in the calendar became available due to the cancellation of the NitrOlympX 2021 drag racing event, which was unavoidable due to the high cost structure and the lack of security in terms of ticket revenue. The situation is different for the Bosch Hockenheim Historic, where only a few preparation measures are required for the motorsport part.
Hockenheim-Ring GmbH is hoping that spectators will be admitted to the event, but the dynamic regulatory situation does not yet allow a binding statement to be made. For this reason, the planning focus is initially on the smooth running of the races on the GP circuit.
