An online blockbuster auction of legendary film vehicles, organized by Bonhams from Paris, ended on 28 November 2025 with total proceeds of 2.4 million euros and a sales rate of 100%.
The auction included 50 vehicles and motorcycles from film and television as well as 19 automobilia items, all with no reserve price. Highlights included original vehicles used in films from "Fast & Furious", "Taxi", "Jurassic Park", "Drive", "Men in Black", "Back to the Future", "Robocop", "Ghostbusters" and "A Duke Seldom Comes Alone".
The auction also included high-quality replicas from franchises such as "The A-Team", "Herbie the Love Bug", "Batman" and "James Bond" and was met with great interest by collectors from all over the world.
The collection comes from the "Movie Cars Central Museum", which is located 45 minutes from Paris and is managed by Franck Galiègue.
Loïc Maschi, collector car specialist at Bonhams, said: "We are delighted to present this exceptional collection to car, motorcycle and pop culture fans worldwide. The auction attracted great international interest from bidders from several continents. As most of the vehicles represent authentic pieces of film and modern automotive history and all lots were offered with no reserve price, the auction turned out to be a real blockbuster." Franck Galiègue added: "This museum has been an incredible adventure, but it's time for new projects. I have invested many years in building this collection and I am delighted that these cars are now in the hands of passionate movie lovers and collectors."
Nine vehicles from "Fast & Furious" were on offer, including one of the most famous modern movie cars ever: the 2001 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VII in which Paul Walker drove through Miami in "2 Fast 2 Furious" (2003). The car fetched a price of EUR 291,200.

- Dodge Charger, built in 1970 - "Fast & Furious 7" (2015). Sold for EUR 190'400
- Dodge Charger "Off-Road", year of construction 1970 - "Fast & Furious 7" (2015). Sold for EUR 134'400
- Fast Attack Buggy, circa 2015 - "Fast & Furious 7" (2015). Sold for EUR 24'640
French cinema was also prominently represented in the collection, particularly with the legendary Peugeot models 406 and 407, made famous by the "Taxi" film series.
These vehicles have become symbols of French automotive culture and have been celebrated on the silver screen and beyond.
Results from this group:
- Peugeot 406 V6, built in 1999 - from the movie "Taxi 2" sold for EUR 95,200, significantly exceeding the estimate of EUR 60,000 to 80,000.
- Peugeot 407 V6, built in 2006 - from "Taxi 5" - sold as a replica for EUR 53,760, more than three times the estimate of EUR 16,000 to 36,000.
Among the vehicles used in the film, a Gene Winfield police car from 1989, which featured in "Back to the Future II", fetched a price of EUR 67,200.
A 1987 Ford LTD Crown Victoria that starred in "Men in Black" (1997) sold for EUR 40,320 (estimate: EUR 17,000 to 34,000).
The now legendary 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1, driven by Keanu Reeves in "John Wick" (2014), achieved EUR 123,200.

- Batmobile from 1989, circa 1992 - Batman Stunt Show, sold for EUR 106,400
- Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu from 1973 - from "Drive", sold for EUR 61,600
Other items included replicas of the most famous cars in film and television history, such as a 2001 Nissan Skyline R34 GTT, which was a near-perfect replica of the car driven by Paul Walker as Brian O'Conner in 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003) and sold for EUR 112,000.
A 1983 GMC Vandura, built by renowned Hollywood car builder Nate Truman in Los Angeles, is one of the most detailed and accurate replicas of the original A-Team van and sold for EUR 53,760 - well above the estimate of EUR 35,000 to 50,000.
A charming 1962 VW Beetle, a faithful replica of the world-famous "Love Bug" Herbie, the popular star of the Disney classics, fetched EUR 35,840.
Among the cinema memorabilia, a life-size T-Rex surrounded by cars and motorcycles from the Jurassic Park films sold for EUR 56,280 - well above the estimate of EUR 35,000 to 60,000. A pink plastic hoverboard, a replica for Universal Studios to promote "Back to the Future II", signed by actor Christopher Lloyd, fetched EUR 1,664.
