Bonhams will auction around 40 Mercedes Benz vehicles in Stuttgart on July 12, 2014.
The Mercedes-Benz factory museum in Stuttgart Untertürkheim will serve as the venue for the auction.
Bonhams, which has had a close relationship with Daimler Benz since the early 1990s, is predestined to conduct this one-make auction, not least because of the legendary world auction record set by the sale of Fangio's Mercedes Benz W 196 from 1954.
The cars that will go under the hammer on July 12, 2014 are currently being assembled worldwide and, as expected, cover the entire spectrum of Mercedes-Benz car history, from the SSK or 500 K, to the 300 SL through to the pontoon and tail fin era.
Bonhams has been conducting one-make auctions for some time now, including with Aston Martin and BMW.
