Traditionally, on the Thursday of the Rétromobile in Paris, Bonhams invites you to the auction at the Grand Palais, where the major Paris Motor Shows used to take place. On February 8, 2018, there is sure to be another interesting offer, and the first vehicles have already been announced.
In 1907, the Minvera 40 HP with bodywork by Carrossier Belvallette was on display at the Grand Palais Motor Show in Paris. 110 years later, it is being auctioned there by Bonhams in its unrestored original condition. The car is expected to cost between EUR 350,000 and 450,000. The rare car will be accompanied by other vehicles from the manufacturer Minerva.
The Fiat Tipo 24/32 from 1904, which has already taken part in the London-Brighton Run several times and was often among the first to arrive, should also be of interest. The car is now set to find a new owner for EUR 750,000 to 950,000.
Historic racing drivers will be interested in the 1936 Alta 2 Litre Sports , which is expected to go under the hammer for EUR 250,000 to 300,000. It is the only left-hand drive example and one of only five remaining vehicles of this type.
Further cars will be announced step by step and it can be assumed that there will again be 120 or more vehicles auctioned by Bonhams on February 8, 2018.
