The "Bleicher Motor Trophy" and the "Wald rollt" event took place from June 13 to 15, 2014.
Challenging night stage
In the pouring rain, the twelve starting cars set off on the infamous two-hour night stage at 10 p.m. on Friday evening.
On Saturday morning, we continued over hills through the Zurich Oberland in beautiful weather.
A fast slalom course at the TCS VSZ Betzholz finally brought the Bleiche Motor Trophy to a close. And of course there were also winners:
1st Hans-Peter and Verena Blandow - Simca Rallye 2 1973
2nd André Burgermeister and Barbara Bernet - Jaguar XJ 3.4 1976
3rd Roger Hermkes and Claude Frey - Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II 1960
There was a special prize for Christian and Vreni Niggli and their Rolls Royce 20/25 FHC 1930
The organizers would like to welcome even more participants in the coming years.
Wald rolls at the limit of its capacity:
On Sunday, June 15, 2014, the historic Bahnhofstrasse in Wald was filled with over three hundred classic vehicles in bright sunshine.
The Présentation d'Elégance, with its spokespersons Martin Sigrist and Urs-Peter Zingg, also set a new record with 80 participating vehicles.
More than three thousand visitors, many of them in period dress, attended the spectacle on Bahnhofstrasse.
The numerous penny-farthings, army games, old uniforms, tractors, motorcycles and army vehicles, which were wildly mixed up, contributed significantly to the unique charm of the event.
The public chose winners in four categories:
- Pre-war: Albert Schnyder - Alba, 1742 cc, HP 12, 1915
- Post-war: Rolf Walti - Alvis TA 14, 1900 cc, 1949
- Motorcycles: Tom van Burkum - BSA Threewheeler Runabout, 1221 cc, 1931
- Agricultural machinery: Jakob Hegner - Köpfli, Trumpf, 1955
