Automédon has big plans for the 16th edition - they want to unite the present and past of classic cars and present rare vehicles that have stood the test of time. The hall at the Parc des Expositions Paris-Le Bourget is available for this purpose.
A tribute to the Monte-Carlo Rally
There has been a rally in Mont-Carlo every year since 1911, and year after year it produces a winner. Thirty of the cars that won between 1911 and 2011 will be presented at this year's Automédon. Among them are a Trucat-Méry, an Amilcar, a Fiat 509 and also Delahaye, Panhard, Mercedes, Lancia and Citroën will be represented.
Commercial vehicles in the spotlight
For the first time this year, commercial vehicles will also be exhibited at the Automédon. The focus will be on two Bernard trucks that have just been manufactured outside Paris.
Serge Gévin - the man who edited the 2CV
In the 1970s, interest in the 2CV slowly waned and it needed a new coat of paint to keep it interesting. This was given to it by Serge Gévin. He designed a two-tone body - and the 2CV Spot was born. A tribute is therefore dedicated to him.
Not only automobiles
Caravans and motorcycles are not neglected either. The Retro Camping Club is celebrating its 20th anniversary at the Automédon. Antique motorcycles from Italy and England and the best two-wheelers for 24-hour races will also be on display.
