The 14th Automédon exhibition will take place this year from October 18 to 19, 2014. At the "Parc des Expositions" Paris Le Bourget in Hall 4, classic vehicles and motorcycles will be presented and showcased in competition against each other.
On an area of 20,000 square meters (indoors), 350 exhibitors present their most beautiful pieces. Clubs, spare parts dealers, vehicle and motorcycle sellers and booksellers will be present. In addition, the classic car parking lot on the grounds will host classic cars and motorcycles throughout the weekend.
With the support of the FFVE (Fédération Française des Véhicules d'Epoque), the Automedon will present rarities from private collections, clubs and French automobile museums. In addition, well-known racing carsthat have enjoyed international success will be on display.
Among the models on display will be the aluminum-bodied Mercedes Silver Arrow, which won every Grand Prix between 1934 and 1939. The Panhard & Levassor Mono Seat from 1933 (George Eyston reached 216.823 km/h with this car in Montlhéry) will also be part of the exhibition.
Automédon is specifically interested in the origins of racing, but more recent models that have made a significant contribution to racing will not be ignored; several GT cars from the 1980s and 1990s will be on display.
Automédon will celebrate the 50thanniversary of the Ford Mustang with several racing models from different years. In addition, rare hot rod models will be on display and Automédon will complement its 5th Motorama with various motorcycles.
Last year's Automédon Paris attracted 15,000 visitors, 336 exhibitors including 100 clubs and over 2,000 classic cars and motorcycles in the parking lot.
On both days, the exhibition runs from 09:00 to 19:00 and visitors pay EUR 12, the reduced price is EUR 10 and children under 14 are admitted free of charge. Drivers of classic cars from 1939 and earlier also enjoy free admission.
