The classic car fair "Auto e Moto d'Epoca" is moving in 2023, celebrating its 40th edition from October 26 to 29, 2023 and doubling its exhibition space in its new home at BolognaFiere.
"We are ready to fully exploit the potential of this sector," says organizer Mario Carlo Baccaglini.
The Italian classic car and motorcycle show can celebrate two important milestones: Auto e Moto d'Epoca 2023 will be the 40th edition of the event and the first to be held in Bologna's exhibition district. In fact, 2023 is the year in which the fair will move to a new location.
BolognaFiere will offer the world of classic cars more than 250,000 square meters of exhibition space spread over 12 exhibition halls with three entrances, with a total of more than 14,500 covered parking spaces and excellent connections to Northern Europe by train, car or plane.
Auto e Moto d'Epoca is an established and important meeting point for European dealers and buyers in the Italian market and its exceptionally well-preserved vehicles. Following an intensive advertising campaign at all major European trade fairs in early 2023, the bookings already received enabled the organizers to allocate an entire additional exhibition hall to the market and the spare parts market than originally planned.
The participation of historic clubs and registers is even more significant than in previous years, with large uncovered areas (but still within the exhibition grounds) dedicated to rallies by fans and connoisseurs.
Vintage motorcycles will also receive a great deal of attention: this is a genuine exhibition, housed in a dedicated exhibition hall covering around 15,000 square meters.
The participation of numerous car manufacturers, showing the transition of innovative values and philosophies from classic vehicles to the latest models on the market, also testifies to a new attention to the relationship between past and present.
Last but not least, the participation of some of the largest European museum collections in this edition is a novelty, starting with the Italian National Automobile Museum in Turin, which will celebrate its 90th anniversary in Bologna.
Thanks to the new space," concludes organizer Mario Carlo Baccaglini, "we will be able to showcase the full potential of classic cars and motorcycles: a world that brings together millions of fans from all over Europe."
Over the past 40 years, Auto e Moto d'Epoca has attracted visitors from 46 countries around the world.
Indeed, "classic" cars and motorcycles are among the undisputed excellence made in Italy, and the new "home" at BolognaFiere will make it possible to fully exploit their potential and attract visitors, exhibitors and buyers from all over the world in numbers that could not be achieved logistically until now.
