Now that the previous Fribourg classic car and parts market can no longer be continued by Forum Fibourg, a new sponsor and organizer has stepped into the breach to organize a successor event.
A market for collectors of vintage vehicles is to be organized. On March 26 and 27, 2022, the "Swiss RetroMecanika" will take place for the first time at the Forum Fribourg, kicking off the beautiful season for all fans of old cars, motorcycles, bicycles, tractors, trucks and buses.
This new event is being launched under the management of Dakota Events. This is a team that says it knows a lot about collectors' fairs. It will be managed by Dominique Durussel, himself a well-known dealer and organizer. He is supported by a number of employees who are themselves involved in collecting vehicles of all sizes, i.e. from miniatures to the largest vehicles.
Swiss RetroMecanika aims to position itself in the field of vintage vehicles and their spare parts. Private and professional dealers will exhibit their stock on an area of 12,000 square meters. Associations, clubs and federations that are active in the Swiss classic car scene will also take part.
Good news for all those who paid for their participation in the OTM 2020 bourse, a bourse that could not take place: You will receive participation in the Swiss RetroMecnaika 2022 from Dakota Events as a gift. Collectors and dealers want to rediscover the good old days as quickly as possible and show off the great collector's items of old means of transportation, again.
