Following the earlier cancellation of the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the organization around the bustling Duke of Richmond has also had to cancel the revival planned for 11 to 13 September 2020.
This is not only bad news for the friends and fans who attend the event year after year in large numbers and with great enthusiasm, but above all for the Goodwood operators.
The three major events - Members Meeting, Festival of Speed and Revival - are the main sources of revenue and the guarantors of profit. Because they will be completely canceled in 2020, not only the future events but also the entire Goodwood site is under considerable strain.
Let's hope that the Goodwood squad can cope with the loss and that 2021 will once again be a jubilee year for the Goodwood events. Until then, you can help preserve the Goodwood legacy with a donation.
