The Zurich Classic Car Award, a Concours d'Elégance in the heart of Zurich, is taking place for the fourth time this year. On August 19, 2015, over 50 breathtaking collector's cars from all eras will once again gather on Bürkliplatz.
News from the ZCCA 2015
A brilliant designer will once again be honored at this year's Zurich Classic Car Award. This year he is called Zagato. Bodies from the Milan-based design company leave no one indifferent. Sometimes they take some getting used to, sometimes they are a little strange and sometimes they are simply knee-slappingly beautiful. So anyone who owns an Alfa, Lancia, Ferrari, Simca, Aston Martin or any other vehicle with a Zagato body should register and bring their car to Zurich this August.
Due to the many enthusiastic feedbacks from last year, "single-seaters", so-called monoposto racing cars up to 1975, will also be shown again. Here too, anyone who is the proud owner of a formula racer and would like to show their vehicle to an admiring audience in the middle of Zurich is welcome to register via the registration form on the website.
Proven and simple program remains
The whole event starts at 10:00 a.m., i.e. not at the crack of dawn, on Bürkiplatz in the middle of Zurich. A ten-person jury will evaluate the vehicles on display, but the public can also vote until 15:00. The awards ceremony will then take place from 14:00. The class winners, winners of the Zurich Classic Car Award and the public winners will be announced until around 16:00.
Classification of the ZCCA 2015
The classes remain the same as in previous years. Once again there are eleven classes, divided according to year of construction and whether the vehicles are open or closed. In addition to the "Single Seater" and "Zagato Tribute" categories already mentioned above, there is also a prize for the most beautiful and best-preserved unrestored car. Here are the classes:
- Best Prewar Open
- Best Prewar Closed

So if you would like to take part with your vehicle, you can register on the Zurich Classic Car Award website under "Participants".
