The 27th Swiss Classic British Car Meeting will take place on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 10:00 to 17:00 in the docks of charming Morges in Switzerland. The town is one of the most beautiful on the shores of Lake Geneva.
Last year, there were around 1600 English cars and motorcycles, not only from all over Switzerland, but also from England, France, Italy, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Spain. There were also around 25,000 spectators to admire them.
The guest of honor this year is Aston Martin, celebrating the 105th anniversary of its founding by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford.
The docks and park welcome all British makes and models over 20 years old, with the exception of rare cars. As usual, motorcycles will be grouped at the docks near the harbor. Unfortunately, the modern Range Rovers, Land Rovers, Jaguars and (BMW) Minis cannot be admitted due to space restrictions.
This unique event in Switzerland allows many amateurs and their families to appreciate the diversity of British production. The original idea of the creator of this gathering, Keith Wynn, is to offer enthusiasts of fine mechanics a day to exhibit and share their love for these museum pieces.
The success of this event, which has been growing steadily for over 25 years, is possible thanks to all participants and amateurs.
