Brazzeltag has long since established itself as one of the leading technology festivals and attracts thousands of visitors to the museum grounds every year. In just a few weeks, visitors can look forward not only to proven program highlights, but also to numerous new attractions. Brazzeltag will take place on May 10 and 11, 2025 from 10 am to 6 pm.
Exciting program items at Brazzeltag 2025
Adrian Guggemos, museum member and professional trial rider, will once again be performing spectacular stunts on Saturday, May 10, 2025. This year, he will be using the Antonov An-22, one of the largest propeller-driven aircraft in the world. Jndia Erbacher, drag racer and current European champion, will also be part of the program. On Sunday, May 11, 2025, she will present her Top Fuel Dragster with 11,000 hp and demonstrate the performance of this high-speed vehicle.
Another extraordinary vehicle is the "Gaggenau Rolls". The 30s-style racing car is powered by a Rolls-Royce Merlin aircraft engine. The displacement of the twelve-cylinder engine is 27 liters. With this mix of new and tried-and-tested attractions, Brazzeltag 2025 promises a varied program for technology and motorsport fans.
Diverse program for technology enthusiasts
This year's technology festival offers a mixture of classic and new program items. In the Brazzel course, the heart of the event, selected vehicles will be doing their laps - including historic racing cars such as the Stanley Steamer Vanderbilt (steam racing car from 1908) or high-displacement giants such as the two crowd favorites Brutus and Mavis. The "Crazy Wheels" category presents unusual conversions and original creations, including the world's fastest mobility scooter with a 750cc motorcycle engine. Hollywood vehicles such as K.I.T.T. or the Unimog Hound from the Transformers film series will also be on display. And what would Brazzeltag be without the deafening run of the Schoolbus Dragster by and with Gerd Habermann. After a one-year break from Brazzeltag, the King of Fire returns to the Salierstadt.
If you want to experience the ultimate off-road fun, you can ride along as a passenger in the Jeep Trial and look forward to steep climbs, deep mud pits and extreme slopes. Fans of historic agricultural machinery have the opportunity to ride along on a Lanz Bulldog and feel the power of these vehicles. A few meters further on, the Wasteland area once again presents post-apocalyptic vehicle conversions and offers a unique atmosphere.
There will also be guided tours of the U9 submarine, the Transall C160 including engine start and the John T. Essberger rescue cruiser. Former crew members accompany the tours and provide fascinating insights into the technology and history of these large exhibits.
The adjacent airfield complements the program with a wide range of activities: In addition to sightseeing flights over the museum grounds and the region, visitors can expect tower tours, exhibitions of modern and historic aircraft and selected machines.
The program items are organized by the local flying clubs and flight schools and take place on the extended event area. Access to the airfield is free of charge.
Further information and tickets are available on the Brazzeltag and Technikmuseum Speyer websites.
