AF Technology AG is taking over Goodtimer in St. Margrethen, a brand-independent business specializing in classic and modern classics, on 1 April 2026. With this integration, AF Technology AG is expanding its activities in the field of classic and special collector vehicles with its R-Universe and at the same time strengthening its location in Eastern Switzerland.
R-Universe has been active in the luxury automotive segment for many years, including in the area of individual concierge services and strategic business development. With the takeover, the portfolio will now be specifically expanded to include the growing classic and classic car market.
The operation in St. Margrethen will be integrated into the structure of R-Universe and will continue to operate under the name R-Classics. Jakob Grossmann will take over the operational management of the division. The familiar local contacts, Alexandra Sperger (administration) and Marvin Pfister (workshop management), will remain in place.
R-Universe's aim with the takeover is to retain Goodtimer's existing expertise and know-how while at the same time opening up new development opportunities in the growing market for classic and special collector vehicles.
In the medium and long term, R-Universe plans to gradually expand its activities in this segment with R-Classics. This division will be further developed and strategically strengthened within the R-Universe automotive platform.
