The Concours d'Elégance was held seven times between 1928 and 1955, and this tradition was revived on May 16, 2015 with the Concours d'Excellence. Since then, this beauty contest has taken place six times, in 2022 for the first time under the new title "ACS Concours d'Excellence International" and at the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne.
With a new, active driving format, this Concours has broken completely new ground - and generated a great deal of positive feedback. That is why the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne is expanding this top-class, innovative event on September 8 and 9, 2023.
In addition to the categories and prizes already announced last year, the "75 Years of Volkswagen in Switzerland Anniversary Award" for a classic Volkswagen will also be presented this year.With a highly attractive main prize: a visit for two people to the Autowelt in Wolfsburg, including flight, hotel (one night including breakfast) and admission to the VW Museum!
This prize will be awarded by the jury to one of the participating Volkswagen vehicles from all categories. This special prize was made possible by partner AMAG - the reliable, professional VW partner in Switzerland since 1948.
The Concours also grants all participants with a VW a Volkswagen discount.
