On June 3 and 4, the Schleswig-Holstein Classic Car Days will take place for the ninth time in the Holstenhallen in Neumünster. In 2022, more than 15,000 visitors and 150 exhibitors visited the 14,000 square meters of indoor space and over 25,000 square meters of outdoor space. The organizers expect similar figures for 2023.
The Schleswig-Holstein Association of the Motor Vehicle Trade will once again assume the conceptual sponsorship and present its range of services with its member companies in Hall 1. The special exhibition "The American way of drive" in Hall 2 is all about stars and stripes: spectacular road cruisers, muscle cars and hot rods will be on display.
On a specially designed sand hill course in the outdoor area, visitors can experience for themselves what the 1984 to 1990 Synchro-powered Bullis can do off-road (up to 70% gradients are possible) during the IG Synchro rides on offer. Numerous classic car clubs proudly display their lovingly restored classics and will be on hand to answer interested visitors' model-specific questions.
Tools, spare parts, specialist books, model cars, automobilia and suitable clothing - you can browse extensively in the parts market and are sure to find what you are looking for.
The popular classic car parking lot has also been set up again. Visitors who come to the Classic Car Days with a classic car can park free of charge and benefit from reduced admission, thus becoming part of the exhibition. More than 30 historic trucks and buses will also be parked here and their owners will be happy to answer any questions.
If you would like to drive to the trade fair together with other classic car drivers on Saturday, June 3, 2023, the popular rallies offer an exciting opportunity: up to 30 participants will start together from a total of eleven locations in Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg and, for the first time, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in the direction of Neumünster. In addition to a rally sign, road book, small breakfast or packed lunch and two admission tickets to the trade fair, for 45 euros you will receive a tour recommendation for traveling to the Schleswig-Holstein Classic Days in your own classic car via scenic routes.
The exhibition grounds can be easily reached within an hour via the A7 highway from the Danish border to the Elbe. If you don't like it so fast, you can drive along numerous federal and country roads and enjoy the rape fields that are still in bloom at this time of year.
