For three days, over 200 racing and sports cars as well as racing motorcycles will be on show at the 8th Lenzerheide Motor Classics. The highest circuit in the world offers the perfect motorsport weekend.
As in previous years, the annual Lenzerheide Motor Classics will take place on the weekend of 15 and 16 June 2019 over a 2.45-kilometre circuit from the start of the village of Lenzerheide, along the lake, to the Rothorn valley station. Return via Dieschen Sot to the start of the village.
The races are not speed races, but rather the impressive performance of these historic vehicles causes quite a stir. Racing and sports cars built up to 1993 and racing motorcycles built up to 1976 are admitted, as well as brand clubs and rarities built up to 1993.
Varied program
The Lenzerheide Motor Classics extends over the whole weekend. On Friday, the race site will be open from 12 noon and the paddock and racing office will be available to participants. The cars will undergo technical scrutineering from 2 pm. After 6 pm there will be a guided vehicle parade through Lenzerheide. The individual vehicles will be introduced and presented at the Postplatz in the village center. Afterwards, the drivers are invited to an aperitif.
On Saturday and Sunday morning there will be demonstration runs for all classes from 8 am. From 12 - 1 p.m. the engines will be at rest, lunch break is announced. Further demonstration runs will take place from 1 pm.
The track will be closed from 7.00 am to 6.00 pm. Access and egress is guaranteed for 10 minutes every hour. Traffic will be diverted.
The fascinating racing action can be followed free of charge in the special spectator areas along the route. There are numerous free seats for spectators along the route.
The riders will have 2 sessions of 25 minutes each on one day, a total riding time of approx. 2 hours over the whole weekend or almost 100 km of riding pleasure in the Grisons mountains.
Registration only possible for the village group
Fields one to eight are already fully booked. Registration is only possible for participants in the village and local group, but you are guaranteed to be able to watch.
