On April 10 and 11 , the Franciacorta Historic 2015 will take place for the eighth time in Castrezzato, Italy. The regularity race for classic vehicles covers 120 km with 50 time trials through the beautiful landscape of the Lanciacorta wine-growing region in the province of Brescia.
Exclusive prologue on an international circuit
The start and finish will once again be at La Colombera Golf & Resort. On Friday afternoon and the following Saturday morning, the obligatory administrative checks as well as car acceptance and the handing out of the road book are on the program. This will be followed by a special prologue on the "Daniel Bonara" international circuit, which will not be included in the Franciacorta Historic classification. This is reserved for the first 40 teams that register for it in the online registration.
The older, the better
Older vehicles should have a slight advantage in the evaluation, as a special coefficient (1.xx - the last two digits of the year of construction) is taken into account, in which the year of construction of the vehicle plays a role. In addition, a penalty point system is used for the time trial.
The last four years have seen a great starting field with over 100 participating vehicles. Vehicles built up to 1968 may take part and a maximum of 20 collector's cars and special interest cars built up to 1976 will be accepted. Anyone wishing to take part must be able to present at least one FIA or FIVA vehicle document for their vehicle.
