The Festival of Speed will be held in Goodwood from Thursday, June 29 to Sunday, July 2, 2017. One of the highlights of the program is the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Ferrari brand.
Ferrari was founded in Maranello in 1947 by the "commendatore" Enzo Ferrari. To celebrate this year's anniversary, at least 70 important Ferrari models will be on display at the Festival of Speed.
Sports cars, single-seaters, road cars and supercars have all been built over seven decades and can look back on a very successful motorsport history. To commemorate this success story, 25 iconic Ferrari monoposti will be competing in the post-war car racing series at Goodwood.
Among others, a Ferrari 166 from 1948, a 375 from 1952, a 156 "Sharknose" from 1961, a 1512 from 1965, a 312B3 from 1974, a 312 T5 from 1980, a 126 C4/M2 from 1984, a 641 from 1990, a 412 T2 from 1995 and the F2002 and F2007 models are expected. Many prototypes and sports cars will also be on display on the "hill climb circuit" through the castle gardens
Things will be a little quieter at the Concours d'Elegance, where several other Ferraris will also be presenting themselves in the special class for the 250 model.
