On Sunday, September 3, two-, three- and four-wheeled classics will meet for the sixth time on the grounds of Huba Control and on the Tägerhardring in Würenlos. The Lägern Classic lasts from 9 am to 4 pm.
Historic vehicles are extremely popular - with owners as well as the general public. This has been impressively demonstrated by the first five editions of the Lägern Classic: Up to 900 cars and motorcycles and up to 5,000 visitors met in Würenlos each time.
In 2023, the organizing association Lägern Classic is once again bringing together the two successful forms, Meet and Cruise. On the one hand, there will once again be a meeting at the usual location on the grounds of Huba Control AG in Würenlos, and on the other hand, there will once again be a cruise around the Lägern for those who appreciate driving with like-minded people.
In Würenlos - well known to drivers all over Europe thanks to the "Frässbalken", a highway service station that is over 50 years old - there will be a rendezvous for friends of old sheet metal and iron, whether with two, three or four wheels.
The event kicks off at 9 a.m. when the festival grounds around Huba Control AG at Industriestrasse 17 open. Then the expert and petrolhead discussions can begin. Either directly at the Oldie or in the covered catering area, which offers a varied range of food and drink.
On the occasion of this year's Lägern Classic on Sunday, September 3, 2023, the band "Steamy Joe" will once again entertain with cultivated blues rock directly at the festival restaurant. They will play various sets from around 10.30 am to 3 pm.
"There is evidence that there are many classic vehicles in the Limmat Valley catchment area, so there needs to be an opportunity to show and admire them. We are pleased that other classic car enthusiasts also see it this way," say the members of the organizing association Lägern Classic.
Admission costs five francs per vehicle, and classic cars and youngtimers built up to 2003 are eligible to take part. Admission is free for visitors.
Note: On Sunday, September 3, 2023, the Industriestrasse will only be open to one-way traffic from Würenlos to Wettingen.
