On March 28 and 29, 2026, the fifth edition of the Swiss Retro Mecanika classic car fair will take place for the third time in the Palexpo halls. The Palexpo site has proven its practicality to the many visitors over the past two years, as it offers road, highway and rail connections, parking spaces at the exhibition gates, free parking forparking spaces at the exhibition gates, free parking for classic cars over 40 years old and the entire event in a single large hall on one level, accessible to all!
Back in March
With the fifth edition, Swiss Retro Mecanika returns to its favorite date at the end of March, right at the beginning of spring.
With 15,000 square meters, Hall 1 will accommodate all 160 exhibitors. Virtually all the players in the classic car world will be represented.
With special exhibitions
90 years of the Fiat Topolino, 80 years of the Renault 4 CV and 70 years of the Renault Dauphine will be celebrated on March 28 and 29, 2026. Sports and prestige cars will also be on display, including the exclusive Bugatti Brescia 16V from 1924, an Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 from 1930 and an Alfa Romeo 6C 2500SS Corsa Touring from 1939. A Salmson S4DA from 1938 and a Studebaker Avanti I Supercharged from 1963 are also sure to attract a lot of interest. And there are many other surprises in store for visitors.... For example, the indispensable VW buses from the T1 generation of 1950 to the T3 of the 1980s will be present in large numbers to celebrate more than 75 years of presence on roads all over the world.
Commercial vehicles will also have their place. Old Swiss military vehicles, passionately preserved fire engines, trucks and coaches will be on display.
Visitors of all ages will certainly also be interested in the RAD rally, the motorcycles, bicycles and mopeds on display, which the dealers present will be able to offer alongside the cars.
