The fourth edition of the Nürburgring Classic will not be held as planned from June 12 to 14, 2020, but from May 21 to 23 in 2021. There is currently too much uncertainty surrounding the further planning and staging of the major family-friendly and international event at Germany's most legendary race track. According to the Federal-State Conference, major events are not permitted until August 31, 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Postponed by one year
After intensive deliberations, the DAMC05-Veranstaltungs mbH and the conceptual sponsor of the event - the DAMC 05 e.V. from Düsseldorf - together with the economic partners and sponsors of the event have therefore decided to postpone the event until next year. The health of all participants, teams, visitors and fans as well as social responsibility are the top priority for the organizing team.
Great program in 2021
From May 21 to 23, 2021, guests of the Nürburgring Classic can once again expect an atmospheric journey through time on the Eifel circuit, exciting grids, qualifying sessions, races, open starting grids, retro grid girls and special races.
The program and the series that will start in 2021 will be adopted almost congruently for next year. The popular regularity tests, which are currently always fully booked with a waiting list, as well as the Experience runs will also be held in 2021 in the usual form, at the usual times and to the usual extent.
The paddock with Ferris wheel, live arena, dealer area and food court, including the meeting of historic racing transporters and service vehicles, will once again be waiting for many visitors with an atmospheric journey through time.
Tickets already purchased for this year will of course remain valid for the next edition of the "Race Event" in May 2021.
