Morges is one of the most beautiful towns on the shores of Lac Léman. This can be seen in the gardens, where the Tulip Festival takes place in spring, or on the picturesque quays, which invite you to stroll and linger.
This is exactly where classic cars and motorcycles from Great Britain will meet for the 30th time on October 1. Not only has the British automotive industry been one of the leading in the world for decades, it has also produced unique and beautiful cars and motorcycles.
Gathering by the lake
On October 1, 2022, these cars, which are usually over 25 years old, will meet in the docks of the charming town of Morges from 10:00 to 17:00.
The Swiss Classic British Car Meeting attracts well over 1000 cars and motorcycles every year, not only from Switzerland but also from abroad (England, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Belgium). The spectacle is watched by around 25,000 spectators each year.
Guest of honor Rolls-Royce
As every year, there is also a guest of honor. In 2022, this will be Rolls-Royce, whose vehicles will then be displayed centrally and tell the story of the luxury car brand's past.
As usual, motorcycles will be grouped at the docks near the harbor. The docks and park will host all British makes and models over 25 years old. Rare cars and sports cars will be given a very special place.
This unique event in Switzerland will allow many amateurs and their families to appreciate the diversity of British production. The original idea of the creator of this gathering, Keith Wynn and his Krumpel, is to offer enthusiasts of fine mechanics a day to exhibit and share their love for these museum pieces. The protection of mechanical heritage also depends on these defenders of the beautiful "English".The success of this event, which has been growing steadily for over 30 years, is possible thanks to all participants and amateurs; with the support of the municipality of Morges, which reserves the quays and the Independence Park, and offers the services of the police and the parks and trails department.
Anyone who appreciates British cars and motorcycles will have the opportunity to enjoy them in a friendly atmosphere on October 1, 2022.
Free but compulsory registration for all participants
Anyone who would like to be part of the exhibition with their British classic car is asked to register. Registration is free but compulsory and helps with planning. Owners with a vehicle of all British makes and models over 25 years old can register. Exceptions will be made for younger cars if they are particularly rare or worth seeing.
Further information and the registration form can be found on the event website.
