This Sunday, August 31, 2014, hundreds of Corvette owners and fans will gather at the Wynecenter site in Buchs near Aarau from 10:00 am. All seven generations will certainly be represented at the largest Corvette meeting in Europe , which is now being held for the 26th time.
The impressive history of this event, which has been held since 1986, is remarkable. Even back then, countless Corvettes came to the event. Back then they were still modern vehicles, but from today's perspective you might think it was a classic car get-together.
Around 700 Corvettes are expected
In addition to well-stocked market stalls, an excellent festival restaurant and the popular beer/cüpli bar, DJ Benny Chesney will provide suitable musical entertainment. New this year is the "Corvette for Sale" corner, where private individuals have the opportunity to present their Corvette for sale by prior arrangement.
One of the highlights of this year's Super Corvette Sunday will be sightseeing flights with "swiss helicopter", which can be booked from the site. This will give high-flyers an extraordinary bird's eye view of the meeting. In addition, Corvette cab rides will be offered throughout the day for interested drivers.
There will be a special evaluation by a panel of experts for the 1964 and 1989 Corvettes present.
Admission is free and the meeting will last until around 16:00.
