The 25th edition of the British Classic Car Meeting St. Moritz took place over the weekend of July 5-8, 2018. The anniversary edition kicked off on Thursday with registration in St. Moritz Bad and a swinging sixties party in Zuoz. On Friday, the participants enjoyed an extra day. The so-called "Easy driving day" focused on enjoyable and stress-free driving. In addition to tests at Engadin Airport and on the parking lots of the Corvatschbahn in Silvaplana-Surlej, the "Horse shoe challenge" also included a hillclimb competition. On Saturday, the traditional rally led from St. Moritz over the challenging route of the Bernina Pass to Valtellina in Italy.
The real highlight of the meeting on Sunday was the popular Concours d'Elégance in the village center of St. Moritz. The 150 or so vehicles taking part in the BCCM were not exhibited on the Via Serlas as usual, but in the pedestrian zone in St. Moritz. The new location in the heart of St. Moritz was very well received by the spectators, who turned the Concours d'Elégance into a popular festival.

During Saturday evening's gala dinner at Suvretta House, long-time OC President Vic Jacob handed over his office to Peter Egli. Egli is already Jacob's successor as Director of Hotel Suvretta House and takes up his position as OC President with immediate effect. Vic Jacob has led the British Classic Car Meeting St. Moritz from success to success over the past 23 years. The event developed early on into a highlight of the St. Moritz event calendar and has attracted a considerable number of top-class cars over the years. Jacob is handing over a well-coordinated team to his successor, who will begin preparations for the British Classic Car Meeting St. Moritz 2019 in the coming weeks. This will take place from July 5 to 7, 2019 and once again promises a number of innovations.
