The 23rd Safenwil information evening in the "Quo Vadis Classic Cars" cycle will take place on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at the Emil Frey Classics AG Event Center.
Part 1, 13:00 - 17:15: "Quo Vadis Classic Cars?"
The afternoon will begin with Felix Aschwanden presenting the "Vehicle Life Cycle" developed by the Swiss Car Register. The "Vehicle Life Cycle" makes a valuable contribution to depicting the individual processes in the "life" of a vehicle on the time axis. This creates structural clarity (e.g. in terms of definitions) and transparency, which will provide new insights, greater understanding and decision-making aids.
Georg Dönni then explains two different processes within the "Vehicle Life Cycle" in practical application around the topic of "originality".
After the break, the focus will be on more recent historic vehicles (youngtimers) and the people and topics associated with them. With interesting speakers, exciting presentations and a panel discussion, we will devote ourselves to this important topic.
Part 2, 18:00 - 21:00: "Quo Vadis Future Mobility?"
A major paradigm shift is currently taking place in individual mobility, driven by the climate protection goals. The main focus is on drive systems and the energy used to power them. In the evening, we will focus on the drives of the future. Outstanding speakers will share their views and knowledge on topics such as the different types of drive. In the case of the electric variant, the efficiency of the batteries will be scrutinized in particular, and the alternative solutions with hydrogen and methanol will also be examined. Modular vehicle concepts will also be discussed.
