It's time to celebrate: 20 years of the Gaisbergrennen. The historic hill climb was held for the first time in 2003, and participants will be welcomed to the 19th edition from June 8 to 10, 2023.
As in previous years, the classic car event consists of a city Grand Prix, scoring runs on the Salzburgring and on the Gaiserberg, supplemented by a regularity rally around Salzburg.
The opening evening on the Zistelalm, the gala dinner in Hellbrunn Palace and the closing evening in Hangar 7 have also been part of the popular standard program for years. A special supporting program has also been announced under the motto "75 years of Porsche" and "20 years of the Gaisbergrennen".
All historically significant vehicles, open and closed, single and two-seater touring, sports and racing cars built up to December 31, 1969 are eligible. An exception is also made in certain cases for historic or sporting vehicles built up to December 31, 1979. No road registration is required for racing vehicles, but this must be reported to the organizer!
There will be two classes (up to 1945 and younger).
The entry fee is EUR 3000 for a vehicle with two people and includes participation, a commemorative gift and meals, but not hotel accommodation, which can be booked separately.
The organizers have not always been lucky with the weather, but for the anniversary edition of the Gaisbergrennen we can only wish for sunshine!
