Classic and vintage cars meet again in Würenlos
On Sunday, September 15, 2019, two- and four-wheeled classics will meet for the second time on the grounds of Huba Control in Würenlos - following the success of the premiere in 2018. The Lägern Classic lasts from 9 am to 5 pm.
Old vehicles enjoy great popularity - among owners as well as the general public. This was impressively demonstrated by the first Lägern Classic last year: over 300 cars and motorcycles and more than 1,500 visitors came to the premiere in Würenlos - despite uncertain weather conditions.
The second edition will now take place on Sunday, September 15. Once again, Würenlos will be a meeting place for fans of old sheet metal and iron, whether on two, three or four wheels.
"There is evidence that there are many classic vehicles in the Limmat Valley catchment area, so there needs to be an opportunity to showcase and admire them. We are glad that other classic car enthusiasts also see it that way," say the members of the association and organizers of the Lägern Classic.
The event starts at 9 a.m. when the festival grounds around Huba Control AG at Industriestrasse 17 open. Then the expert and petrolhead discussions can begin. Either at the Oldie or in the covered catering area, which offers a varied range of food and drink. Or you can marvel at one of the special exhibitions under the motto "forgotten" brands, which are organized by the OC.
Admission is free - both for participants with a vehicle (up to 1999) and for visitors. A bouncy castle provides fun for the little ones.
Please note: On Sunday, September 15, Industriestrasse will only be one-way traffic from Würenlos to Wettingen.
VW meeting "Air cooling meets water vapor"
From August 24 - 25, there will also be a large VW meeting in Schinznach Dorf at the Schinznacher Baumschulbahn. The Limmattal Beetle Club has invited everyone. All air-cooled VWs and Beetles are welcome.
