The 18th Traversée de Paris in historic vehicles will take place this year on July 20, 2025.
The passion for classic cars should not be limited to France, as collectors everywhere celebrate automotive history. For this reason, the "Vincennes en Anciennes" club, which organizes the Paris Traversées in summer and winter, has contacted the foreign participants of previous events and invited them to represent their country as "ambassadors", so to speak, at the 18th edition.

Eleven European countries will be represented
In addition to France, eight other countries have registered: Germany, Belgium, Hungary, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. Two other countries (Italy and Portugal) will be represented at the Traversée with vehicles registered in France. Each vehicle will display its national flag.
Witness to history and the development of technology
The celebration of automotive history in the streets of Paris recalls the glory days of the various means of transportation and will also provide an emotional experience for passers-by.
No fewer than 700 vehicles over 30 years old (including cars, motorcycles, bicycles, light commercial vehicles, tractors and buses) will set off from the southern forecourt of the Château de Vincennes on July 20, 2025. Bread and butter cars will drive alongside luxury brand vehicles, convertibles will overtake agricultural vehicles, and long-forgotten names (such as Hotchkiss, Facel Vega, Talbot, Saab, Pontiac, Lancia, Terrot, Dollar, etc.) and rare models will attract the attention of passers-by.

Beautiful vintage models were reported
- 1907 Ford R from Switzerland
- 1930 Citroën AC4 Commerciale Torpédo from Hungary
- 1921 Amilcar CC
- BSA bicycle from 1918
- HRD Rapide motorcycle from 1948

In addition, a dozen tractors will come from outside Paris and there will be an exhibition of jeeps in Meudon.
The dress code for the crews is white.
From one forest to another
The years go by, but the routes of the Traversée are slightly different every year. This summer, the route will be around thirty kilometers long and will pass through the Bois de Vincennes and the area of the city south of the Seine before crossing the Bois de Boulogne. The Place de la Concorde will not be visited this time. At the end of the trip, all the vehicles and their crews will meet up again on the terrace of the Meudon Observatory. In the afternoon, everyone comes together for a picnic, and visitors who were on foot are also invited to enjoy the musical atmosphere.
