The Swiss Volvo Meeting has been held every two years for over 30 years. This makes it one of the oldest Volvo meetings and one of the three largest such events in Europe. The 16th Swiss Volvo Meeting will take place from August 25 to 27, 2023 in Bulle, the capital of Gruyère, in one of Switzerland's most beautiful tourist regions. During the three days of the event, around 700 Volvos, from classic cars to new vehicles, are expected at the Espace Gruyère event center.
The program promises some highlights: on Friday, August 25, there will be the cultural Tour d'Horizon with a visit to the Gruyère cheese dairy, the Cailler chocolate factory and an extended visit to the historic town of Gruyère. A big surprise awaits the participants at lunchtime! It's definitely worth taking part!
Saturday, August 26 and Sunday, August 27, 2023 are the big Volvo meeting days on the grounds of Espace Gruyère in Bulle. For the first time in Switzerland, there will be a Volvo spare parts market. In addition to various stands, the special show "Classic Volvos" in one of the halls and, of course, the rally, which starts at 09:30 and leads along an extremely beautiful and exciting route, will be the focus of the event.
Among other things, two direct Kontiki flights to Finnish Lapland in winter can be won in the public competition!
The organizing IG Swiss Volvo and Volvo Club Romand are actively committed to the preservation of classic motor vehicles as a rolling cultural asset.
A highlight of this year's Volvo meeting will therefore certainly be the Saturday evening program, where, in addition to culinary highlights from the region, the topic of classic cars will not be neglected.
