The fact that the Historic Traffic Show is an insider tip became clear at the 15th edition in 2015 at the latest. At 9:00 a.m. sharp, a column of pre- and post-war veterans was already lined up at the entrance, despite the heavy rain.
More people than ever before responded to the call to come to Altenrhein. Real enthusiasts drove in openly in their roadsters and brass veterans. A Saurer fire engine from the city of St. Gallen from 1909, alias "Helene" and the oldest participant, a stagecoach from 1881, were among the first to arrive in Altenrhein.
The 16th event is just around the corner
And it's here to stay - the 16th Historic Transport Show will once again attract many fans of moving sheet metal in 2016. On Sunday, September 18, 2016, at 9:00 a.m., the "Historische Verkehrsschau" association will open the gates to the three-country airport in Altenrhein (Switzerland).
Registration for the flea and spare parts market is now also possible on the website. As space is limited, the motto is as always: "First come, first served".
