The first edition of the "1000 Miglia Warm-Up Austria" will take place from September 26 to 29, 2024. Following the internationalization of the "1000 Miglia" with official offshoots in Japan, the USA, the United Arab Emirates and China, the 1000-mile drive is now coming to a neighboring country of Italy for the first time: Austria.
Cars from the era of the original Mille Miglia, i.e. cars that took part in the race between 1927 and 1957, as well as sports cars and Grand Turismos from 1958 to 1976, can take part. The "Porsche Challenge" will take place in parallel with the "1000 Miglia Warm-Up Austria", in which up to 20 Porsche cars built between 1977 and 2024 will accompany the rally.
The first "1000 Miglia Warm-Up Austria" will take place in the Salzburger Land region and will lead over the Grossglockner High Alpine Road and through the Salzkammergut. As with the big model, the host region and route will change every year.
