The 10th Klassiker-Tage Schleswig-Holstein will take place on June 1 and 2. The premiere was in 2013, after a two-year "corona break" in 2020 and 2021 and a successful restart in 2022, the event is now celebrating its 10th anniversary.
Dirk Iwersen, Managing Director of Holstenhallen, summarizes: "When we started the project in 2013 with a very short planning phase, we didn't give much thought to the further development of the Classic Days. We only gradually became aware that there are so many classic car enthusiasts up here in the north with exceptionally good and sometimes very rare vehicles thanks to all the feedback we received."
Christoph Honnen, project manager of the trade fair, adds: "We wanted to become a permanent meeting place for the classic car scene in the north. The continuous increase in visitor and exhibitor numbers shows that we have succeeded quite well. We are particularly pleased that we have so many regular visitors and exhibitors."
Many highlights
A mixture of new and tried-and-tested highlights is planned for the anniversary event:
- Special show: Italy "Amor vecchio non fa ruggine" / "Old love never rusts"
- Around 150 exhibitors on 14,000 m2 of indoor and 30,000 m2 of outdoor space
- Large parts market
- Vintage car area of Württembergische Versicherung with presentation of the arriving visitor vehicles - over 1,900 "visitor vintage cars" came in 2023
- Large truck and bus meeting
- Rallies from Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania
- Special show: EGLI motorcycles
The exhibitors alternate between loving club presentations and classic car dealers, insurance companies, workshops, accessories and an extensive parts market.
The special "Italy" show will focus on the famous Italian car manufacturers. From Alfa Romeo to Fiat and Ferrari, an extensive vehicle exhibition will be on display. The exhibition will be complemented by a suitable culinary offering.
In the special show "EGLI - the legend lives on", mainly North German enthusiasts will be presenting around 20 of these rare and valuable motorcycles with the world-famous central tube frame at the Schleswig-Holstein Classic Days in Neumünster.
A little further on, buses and trucks from the old days will be on display. More than 30 vehicles were on display last year. The organizers are expecting an even higher number of participants this year.
An absolute highlight since the first Classic Days has been the expert and friendly presentation of the arriving vehicles by classic car enthusiast Georg Meyering.
And for those who would like to drive to the trade fair together with other classic car drivers on the Saturday of the fair, June 1, 2024, the popular rallies offer an exciting opportunity: up to 30 participants will set off from a total of eleven locations in Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania on guided, scenic drives towards Neumünster.
Starting places can be booked on the event website, where further information is also available.
