GTAm No. 240
In 2020, Alfa Romeo celebrated its 110th anniversary by reviving one of its most legendary motorsport-aligned names: the Giulia GTA. The GTA was powered by the same Ferrari-engineered, twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V6 as the top-shelf Giulia Quadrifoglio, though power was increased to 540 CV thanks to higher boost pressure and a unique Akrapovič exhaust. Yet, the GTA was an impressive 100 kilograms lighter than the already sporting Quadrifoglio, while featuring wider fenders and a revised suspension. The track-focused GTAm brought the Giulia even closer to its motorsport roots, with just two seats, racing harnesses, and Lexan side and rear windows. Production was limited to just 500 cars total between the GTA twins, and the example offered here is the 240th car built.
This 2022 Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm is classically finished in classic Rosso Etna and is adorned in the "Silverstone 1972" livery, a €15,000 option that harks back to the Alfa Romeo GTA 1300 Juniors that competed in the European Touring Car Championship. The remarkable car entered into the collection of its original owner in July 2022, with delivery taking place through Fiat Mirafiori Stellantis &You of Torino, Italy. Accruing just over 800 kilometers by May 2024, the car was brought to Germany with its current owner. Today, the rare Giulia displays just 1,121 kilometers at cataloging, remaining a collector-grade example of an already exceptionally rare and sporting model in Alfa's stable.
