Five seats, five gears and five doors, packed into an estate coupé, almost like a modern Audi A7 or a BMW 4-series Gran Coupé, that should have been a success in 1979, one might think. It was also reliable and inexpensive. The Toyota Corona was also very popular, but not necessarily in our part of the world. Only a few examples are likely to have survived; one was photographed and described for this report.
