40 years ago, Renault celebrated the first victory of a turbo Formula 1 racing car with the RS10. Subsequently, the turbo engine was also widely used in production cars and mostly powered the top versions of the various model series. One of these was the Renault 5 GT Turbo, the 200 km/h version of the second R5 edition. The competition had to measure itself against it.
