Just one month after Ford presented its successful Mustang, Plymouth launched its rival product: the Barracuda. This car was to be produced for exactly ten years. Three main generations of the pony car were built, with small V6 engines, but also with really big V8 engines. There were even racing versions. Despite all their efforts, however, they were always somewhat overshadowed by Ford and General Motors. This report looks back on the ten-year history of the Ford-Mustang rival and shows the various versions in many pictures and original brochures.
