Just 327 examples of the Lamborghini Jarama, including the S model, were produced between 1970 and 1976. This makes the front-engined Gran Turismo one of the rarest Lamborghinis ever. The Lamborghini Jarama is a front-engined GT in the tradition of the 350 GT. Blessed with an impressive V12 engine, the car suffers from some annoying shortcomings in the test. In the testers' judgment, it takes a certain amount of empathy to appreciate the true value of this exclusive GT. After all, you can't have everything, not even at the price of a Jarama.
From 1970 to 1976/78, Lamborghini built the Jarama as the 400 GT and 400 GTS. The front-engined coupé was a Granturismo of the purest school, a sports car that you could even take out of the garage to get bread rolls. Only 327 examples were built, so they are rarely seen and when they do drive past, many passers-by don't even notice them because of their understated styling.
