This is the first test report ever published by Automobil Revue that focuses on a Ferrari. The car tested was the fastest and most powerful of all the production cars ever tested by "AR". The Ferrari 212 Export with Vignale bodywork impressed with optimum roadholding and elasticity. The very detailed article reflects the enthusiasm of the testers. The rare original photos show a 212 Export in its original condition in every detail, unique!
Between 1951 and 1953, just over 80 Ferrari 212 Inter left the factory in Maranello, fitted with bodywork by Italian sheet metal artists, including Vignale, who benefited from the creativity of Giovanni Michelotti, who designed the shape of the coupé and convertible sports cars. This report portrays a late Ferrari 212 Inter from 1953 and shows many of its brothers in over 30 historic photographs.
