It's not every day that you get the opportunity to buy a Goodwood Revival participant at auction. In this case, it was the 1959 Austin A40 Farina Mk II , which came third at the 2010 Revival. Drivers such as Perry McCarthy and David Hobbs got behind the wheel of the powerhouse, which often competed in (English) historic races. In addition to the vehicle, a comprehensive spare parts package including a second body could also be purchased for £ 25,000 to £ 30,000 (estimated price). With a sales price (incl. surcharge/taxes) of £ 27,600 (Euro 31,740, or CHF 38,916), the Farina-Austin just about met expectations, but no more.
