Preview (beginning of the article)
RM Sotheby's once again made a guest appearance at Motorworld Munich to auction off cars and motorcycles. On October 18, 2025, 67 vehicles, including four motorcycles, went under the hammer. Together, they were estimated in advance at EUR 35.5 million.Almost half of the cars and motorcycles went under the hammer without a reserve price. In the end, 87% of the vehicles were sold for a total of almost EUR 26 million (CHF 23.9 million). On average, almost the average estimated value was bid at 97%. The fact that the total turnover was nevertheless almost 10 million less than hoped for was due to the fact that some expensive cars could not be sold and some vehicles were sold for significantly less than the estimated value.
