On the occasion of Collectors' Week in Abu Dhabi, which, as the name implies, is all about the appreciation of luxury and collector's items, RM Sotheby's also auctioned 30 automobiles with a total value of around USD 87.8 million at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort hotel on December 5, 2025. There was great interest in the auction, not least because of some unusual lots and a McLaren F1.A total of 83% of the cars on offer were sold, with a turnover of USD 84.7 million or USD 3.39 million per car. On average, bidders came within 90% of the median estimate. On average, the vehicles on offer were just 13 years old. In fact, only six of the cars were classic cars, another three will reach the young-timer age next year, and all the rest were vehicles built after 2010 or even in the future!
